Study goals
Seeking to contribute to the scientific literature and to organizational practice, this study aims to identify the models of supervisory systems focused on projects aimed at the fourth industrial revolution and the application of their respective disruptive technologies.
Relevance / originality
Disruptive technologies create great challenges for industries, globally. In view of this, presentations of models of supervisory systems in project management for the fourth industrial revolution are considered relevant to the scientific literature and to organizational practice.
Methodology / approach
The research process was developed based on secondary data and a "qualitative-quantitative" approach, applying the "systematic literature review" method, combining it with "bibliometric" studies, "network analysis", and "content analysis".
Main results
Obtaining a portfolio of scientific articles, with the potential to contribute with researchers towards research on supervisory system models in projects linked to the fourth industrial revolution and the application of their respective disruptive technologies.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
In the theoretical and methodological contributions, the mapping of citations through the "VOSviewer software" enabled the systematic and content analysis of the most influential scientific publications on the proposed theme.
Social / management contributions
Indication of a set of scientific articles about supervisory systems in projects aimed at the "fourth industrial revolution and application of disruptive technologies", favorable to social issues and management processes.
