Study goals
The objective of this technical report is to present the lessons learned in the implementation of the Project Management Office and the level of competences in projects of the employees of this new organizational structure of the public adm in Osasco.
Relevance / originality
In search of answers to the problems mentioned, we approached through the literature the two subjects of interest in this technical report: the first is about the Project Management Office and the second about the analysis of competences in projects.
Methodology / approach
The methodology was implemented with the participation of the author acting as a directly involved party, which characterized the approach method as an action research, in which the authors get involved with the case and contribute to the achievement of results.
Main results
Learning obtained, to create a bank of lessons learned and a great meeting with all project managers, so that everyone can give their testimony of the lessons learned so far, which can be consulted in the future, when other PMO's.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
Expand and disseminate material for other studies of project office implementation in the public area, focusing on new areas such as innovation and technology.
Social / management contributions
Continuing the learning obtained with the lessons learned, supporting the administration public for the implementation of the PMO, development and management of frugal innovation projects.
