Theoretical / methodological contributions
There are opportunities to improve academic knowledge regarding the collaboration process in digital transformation projects. Supported by the theoretical lenses of organizational, professional, and project collaboration, this study pinpointed collaborative factors and dimensions in digital transformation project studies.
Social / management contributions
Understanding the loci of digital transformation projects could assist practitioners in customizing their collaborative approach, attentive to the collaborative dimensions: interdependent roles, collaborative outcome, flexibility, collective ownership of goals and reflection on the process.
