Study goals
Analyzing the employees' perception of a supermarket chain in the city of Mamanguape/PB regarding the reward practices implemented by the company.
Relevance / originality
The study is justified by the significance of the reward system in enhancing organizational efficiency and motivating employees, taking into account that the talents and skills of the individuals within the entity can contribute value to the organization.
Methodology / approach
A descriptive field research approach was employed, utilizing the inductive method. To collect data, a questionnaire was developed and administered to the employees of the network. The data was organized into tables using descriptive statistics.
Main results
It was noticed that reward system practices have a strong influence on employee motivation, and despite the various types of reward systems present within the company, there are certain expectations from employees that they desire to be fulfilled.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
This article contributes to the advancement of literature on reward systems, controlling, and managerial accounting.
Social / management contributions
This article presents its social contribution in the well-being and relationships among internal members of organizations.
