Study goals
The objective of this study is to identify the factors that can influence the satisfaction of stakeholders named as key users in information technology (IT) projects in a multinational company with a functional organization structure.
Relevance / originality
Key users on IT projects are often overlooked as a relevant stakeholder group. Considering that these stakeholders have high power and interest in the implementation of IT projects, there is a need to identify the satisfaction factors of this group.
Methodology / approach
With a literature review, the theoretical basis was established and used to conduct interviews with professionals involved in a IT project in company with a functional organization structure.
Main results
The results present a summary table of satisfaction factors of the stakeholders identified as key users, related to the dimensions of product, consulting, knowledge and involvement, as well as the dimension of the organization proposed in this study.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
This report allowed us to understand that in addition to the satisfaction factors related to the product, consultancy, knowledge and involvement, there are others related to the organization.
Social / management contributions
The resulting satisfaction factors can be used by the company as a tool for selecting consultants and evaluating current IT projects.
