Study goals
This technical report aims to present the stages and results of the implementation of a corporate training project focused on training new leaders.
Relevance / originality
A national company in the technology segment decided to promote employees, however, behavioral unpreparedness led the new leaders to adopt inappropriate conduct from the human, organizational and legal points of view.
Methodology / approach
To identify improvement needs, qualitative and quantitative research was applied. Data collection took place through a climate survey and analysis of People Management indicators. Subsequently, we redid the method to compare the results.
Main results
After insertion of the program, the indicators showed a significant improvement in team performance, increased productivity, and employees were more engaged due to a healthier organizational climate.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
Through the exposed data, we conclude that this technical report theoretically contributes to the importance of developing soft skills, both for people management and for the good career development of the individual.
Social / management contributions
There was an improvement in the organizational climate of the company's ecosystem as a whole The training program inspired the creation of a Corporate University This fact raised the reputation of the people management area, which resulted in an increase.
