Successful leaders affect the results of an organization, as they play an important role in influencing their subordinates. In this sense, the study aimed to evaluate the impact of leadership on organizational results in a software company.
Relevance / originality
Expansion of the discussion of the theme associated with leadership, as well as its relationship with organizational results, confirming studies already evidenced in the literature In managerial dynamics, for offering the opportunity for self-assessment and comparative benchmarking based on the evidence.
Methodology / approach
Study of descriptive nature and qualitative and quantitative character in a technology company in Nova Serrana-MG To this end, all managers and employees of the company were involved As an instrument, an interview script and an evaluative questionnaire were applied.
Main results
The results showed aspects that are decisive for leadership, especially the importance of training and proactivity of employees These aspects may have motivated unfavorable perceptions In the categories associated with profile, relationship and results, they showed harmony between the perceptions of managers.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
As a theoretical contribution, the study becomes relevant for contributing to scientific knowledge through a theoretical-empirical proposal, emerging reflections on the subject in question. The academic proposal still advances by allowing analyzes and theoretical studies associated with organizational results.
Social / management contributions
As a practical contribution, it consolidates the importance of the leadership profile for generating results and as a managerial contribution by offering the company involved the opportunity for managerial self-assessment associated with leadership aspects, especially in the gaps identified.
