Study goals
The objective of the article is to show a project that consisted of spreading the knowledge and practice of selective collection, as well as sustainable habits, correctly guiding the way of disposal of the waste generated.
Relevance / originality
The article has significant relevance since a diagnosis of the current situation on environmental education issues was carried out in a school, where it is time to insert topics like these that will impact the lives of students in the near future.
Methodology / approach
Lectures and workshops were held with students of different ages, the way of approaching the theme varied according to the grade the student was in, for older students more technical content while for younger students appropriate content
Main results
The adoption of remote teaching during the corona virus pandemic brought to light difficulties for the development of practical activities, despite the obstacles encountered throughout the process and after being executed and finalized, the project achieved the expected results.

It was observed that the application of lectures and workshops are the best way for development and learning
Social / management contributions
Project was able to identify gaps in the lives of young students, showing that the municipality where it was carried out can implement better social policies for better training of the undue.
