This technical report aims to identify the difficulties and challenges in capturing and transferring knowledge based on installed capacity when adopting scaled agile.

The study addressed the challenges in knowledge transfer and capture within teams, discussing topics such as scaled agile and the relation to installed capacity.
Methodology / approach
The study utilized interviews and document analysis as methodological procedures. Document analysis examined capacity allocation reports, knowledge transfer documents, and internal communications.
Main results
The results point out the challenge of dealing with accumulated knowledge and its effective transmission for team efficacy, the problem of high turnover and knowledge preservation, as well as the limitations of documentation in capturing tacit knowledge.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
This technical report contributes by proposing four dimensions of difficulties and four dimensions of challenges based on the evidence reported by the studied organization.
Social / management contributions
To face the challenges, it's necessary to undertake training and onboarding initiatives, promote a culture of knowledge sharing, and implement rigorous documentation practices, among others.
