Study goals
Comparing the implementation of CPFR in the health supply chain with existing literature The aim is to provide a more accurate picture of the expectations, benefits and challenges involved, enabling better use and aiming for better adoption of the model.
Relevance / originality
The research covered several relevant topics of SC management, providing information, examples and insights to enrich the understanding of the issues discussed and to direct the focus to the CPFR considering the new demands of the current scenario.
Methodology / approach
An exploratory approach was adopted, enabling the identification of problems and challenges faced in the implementation of the CPFR concept. We chose to use a combined approach of secondary material and rounds of semi-structured interviews.

Theoretical / methodological contributions
By revisiting two theoretical models of CPFR with the application of tools in practice, it was possible to understand the need to revisit existing models from the new demands existing in the business context.
Social / management contributions
The well-implemented CPFR model allows better results for companies, waste reduction throughout the chain, improves the level of trust and the quality of information between partners, reflecting a better working environment.
