A bibliographic review on risks in civil construction, Industry 4.0 and scientific articles was used.
Main results
Reduction of errors in the work, prior treatment of problems, better management, optimization of communication between different collaborators and greater integration between members of the various teams. All of these results have a direct impact on greater security in the executive process.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
Through the study it was verified that the risks of accidents at work cause great impacts in the civil construction. However, there are several methodologies for identifying, controlling and monitoring risks.
With the increasing use in the civil construction sector, it is evident how important it is to know the concepts of industry 4.0 and its technologies to apply in the risk areas of civil construction.
