Resumo

Dimensionar os principais problemas no setor de estoque de uma empresa do ramo metalúrgico e propor soluções baseados na metodologia 5S para que o ambiente de trabalho se reflita em processos mais otimizados com foco na melhoria contínua.

O artigo apresenta um trabalho com estudo de campo prático e aplicado através da elaboração de check list e a construção de um painel de indicadores (KPIs) para otimização do gerenciamento do setor de estoque da empresa estudada.

Abordagem quantitativa, qualitativa e aplicação de estudo de campo.

O trabalho possibilitou uma notável melhoria na organização do setor, além de ter facilitar a comunicação entre os colaboradores e a o gestor da área e a identificar e tratar diversas problemas inerentes ao estoque.

Outros autores e gestores podem tomar com base este trabalho para facilitar a replicação em seus estudos ou área de trabalho, as ferramentas da qualidade aqui utilizadas.

Através do estudo em campo foi possível que todos os colaboradores da área de estoque pudessem contribuir de alguma forma no levantamento dos problemas tornando viável uma participação solidária e democrática no gerenciamento do setor.

Dimension the main problems in the stock sector of a company in the metallurgical industry and proportion based on the 5S methodology so that the work environment is reflected in more optimized processes with a focus on continuous improvement.

The article presents a work with practical field study and applied through the elaboration of a checklist and the construction of a panel of indicators (KPIs) to optimize the management of the stock sector of the studied company.
