Study goals
Individual learning in projects has become a great challenge, as it contributes to the company's strategies, improving results and performance in projects. Thus, the objective of this research is to understand how individual learning in projects is being studied.
Relevance / originality
Discussions are based on three study groups, where it was possible to have an insight into individual learning in projects, understanding the discussions and their applications. In this way, the different approaches to this theme, their importance and contribution became evident.
Methodology / approach
We used the Scopus and WoS databases to identify studies on individual learning in projects, aiming to carry out a systematic literature review In total, 36 articles related to the subject were found, serving as reference for the development of this research.
Main results
Over the past five years, studies have highlighted the complexity and scope of construction projects. The main approach was qualitative and mostly theoretical, enabling new points of view from models and discussions about individual learning in projects.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
As a contribution, we brought an agenda and paths for new studies, which allowed us to perceive great possibilities to advance in discussions and theory about individual learning in projects.
Social / management contributions
Future research could focus on GP competencies considering different teams and locations. It should also study the relationship between individual learning and project performance. Another interesting point would be to add the cultural dimension, due to the scope of projects and companies.
