Presenting the results and implementation strategy of a project office focused on innovation and local development in an education, science and technology federal education institution.
Relevance / originality
This work presents a proposal for a solution for the institutions of the federal education system, which lack organizational structures and technological tools aimed at increasing and formalizing partnerships to generate innovation and local development.
Methodology / approach
The methodology defined for the development of this work has a qualitative approach, of an applied nature, exploratory objectives and procedures supported by action research.
Main results
The project office and the tools implemented made it possible to structure a portfolio of competence and expertise, resulting in a significant increase in the number of partnerships for project development.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
The use of knowledge management and process management techniques and methodologies enabled a new organizational approach to generate innovative projects in an education, science and technology institution.
Social / management contributions
The significant increase in projects in partnerships with public and private organizations increases the probability of generating applied solutions with greater potential for innovation in the territories where the institution acts.
