Study goals
This report aims to describe the difficulties in capturing and transferring tacit knowledge between projects, experienced in an ERP implementation company, and proposes solutions through mechanisms that take into account the characteristics of tacit knowledge.

Presentation of mechanisms that enable tacit knowledge to be captured and transferred, based on their characteristics when they occur during the project life cycle.
Methodology / approach
The method adopted is part of a systematic review of the literature, adding the evidence obtained based on document analysis available to support the installation of the knowledge management process in an ERP software implementation company.
Main results
As a result, it was possible to identify factors that hinder and contribute to capture and transfer, as well as to propose mechanisms, based on the literature, that allow the knowledge management process to occur successfully
Theoretical / methodological contributions
Based on the concept of informal practices, combined with abstraction to group capture and transfer techniques collected during the systematic literature review, it is possible to present, in an unprecedented way, adequate mechanisms for the transfer of tacit knowledge in projects.
