Resumo

O objetivo do trabalho é analisar como as mudanças, oportunidades, desafios e tendências do setor fintech têm ocorrido na Argentina.

A análise integra diversos fatores sociotécnicos e níveis de análise, e não se limita a estudar a configuração atual do setor fintech. Transições sociotécnicas foram elaboradas descrevendo os níveis de "landscape", "regime" e "nicho" para o setor fintech da Argentina.

Neste artigo conceituamos a Fintech como transições sociotécnicas e realizamos uma análise baseada na Perspectiva Multinível. Para elaborar a análise, são analisados artigos acadêmicos e utilizados dados primários correspondentes à população de empresas fintech.

As inovações nos serviços de pagamento seguiram um caminho de transformação. Os serviços de criptomoedas estão transformando o regime oferecendo uma nova alternativa de investimento e de investimento e poupança.

A pesquisa contribui para a conceituação do setor fintech como sistema sociotécnico e uma análise baseada na Perspectiva Multinível.

Os caminhos de transição do nicho inovações fintech para uma posição dominante explicam como as mudanças ocorreram, como as oportunidades, desafios e o impacto das tendências globais no setor foram apreendidos.

The objective of the work is to analyse how the changes, opportunities, challenges and trends of the Fintech sector have taken place in Argentina.

The analysis integrates several socio-technical factors and levels of analysis, and is not limited to studying the current configuration of the Fintech sector. Socio-technical transitions were elaborated describing the "landscape", "regime" and "niche" levels for the Fintech sector in Argentina.

We conceptualize Fintech as socio-technical transitions and the analysis is based on the Multi-level Perspective. To prepare the analysis, we review academic articles and use primary data corresponding to fintech start-ups and established firms.

Innovations in payment services have followed a path of transformation. Cryptocurrency services are transforming the regime by offering a new investment and savings alternative.

The research contributes with a conceptualization of the Fintech sector as a socio-technical system and an analysis based on the Multi-level Perspective.

The transition pathways from niche Fintech innovations to a dominant position explain how the changes have taken place, how the opportunities have been seized, the challenges and the impact of global trends in the sector.
