Study goals
The study analyzes the contribution of the Federal Institute of São Paulo to the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation, through agreements and contracts signed by the Innovation Agency between 2018 and 2022.

The originality of the research lies in the detailed analysis of the data, allowing the identification of the concentration of projects in specific areas, their geographical distribution, the relationship with the Sustainable Development Goals and the profile of the coordinators involved.

The study was exploratory and mixed in nature, combining documentary research in open access sources and field research, with interviews.

The agreements and contracts focus on areas such as engineering and ICT, with greater collaboration at local and regional levels. The projects are more aligned with the economic objectives of the 2030 Agenda, with less adherence to the social and environmental pillars.
