Methodology / approach
To describe the e-commerce creation process, the research-action methodology and life history were used. Analyses were conducted on company documents, financial spreadsheets, and inventory control, along with an interview with one of the partners.
Main results
The results demonstrate that the company’s behavior in carefully observing the environment, seizing opportunities, and defending against threats is closely linked to dynamic capabilities theory and was crucial for achieving sustainable competitive advantage.
