Study goals
This article aimed to identify, in the literature, models for evaluating the impact of research in the area of Administration.
Relevance / originality
The study provides a better understanding of research impact assessment models, providing insights that enable the creation of a model with the potential to align research with the needs of society.
Methodology / approach
A systematic literature review was used as a research methodology. After a process of refining the initially selected articles, a total of 7 articles emerged as the central focus for analysis and further investigation.
Main results
Data analysis made it possible to identify research impact assessment models, their main characteristics and the challenges faced, such as the complexity in measuring impacts and the need to integrate multiple dimensions in the assessment process.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
As a contribution, this article presents the proposition of an integrative model for evaluating research impact, which integrates multiple dimensions of impact, sustainability aspects, engagement with stakeholders and continuous evaluation throughout the research life cycle.
Social / management contributions
The proposed model is aligned with contemporary demands for social relevance, sustainability and effectiveness, as a tool to improve the management and communication of research results.
