Methodology / approach
A qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews conducted with 16 senior executives, followed by content analysis using NVivo software to categorize and interpret the data.
Main results
The environmental, organizational, and cognitive dimensions are critical in the formulation of strategies in high-level education, with an emphasis on external control, executive diversity, and the cognitive complexity of managers.
