Study goals
This Technical Report aims to document the experience of creating and implementing a Community of Practice, contributing to the conceptual instrumentalization and the challenge of discussing, sharing and transforming knowledge into practical application.
Relevance / originality
Because it is a paradigm, DSR has encountered barriers, so some researchers have awakened to the need to interact, discuss and disseminate this methodology. This greater interaction between them contributes to the method gaining greater visibility and use in academia.
Methodology / approach
The research follows an exploratory qualitative approach: it explores and understands the meaning attributed to the problem, and the analysis is built from the particularities to general information and interpretations. It aims to approach the problem, maximizing knowledge about it.
Main results
As a result, a Community of Practice was structured and implemented. In the end, it is expected to reach a number of active participants, contributing with a platform that allows learning through collaboration and exchange of experience among participants.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
It presents the feasibility of using DSR for studies, seeking to stimulate the dissemination and discuss its relevance and rigor, mainly for the creation of technological products. The objective was achieved, mainly in the deepening, dissemination and sharing of methodology knowledge.
Social / management contributions
It has presented significant benefits, mainly for the scientific and technological advances that the methodology can achieve and the relevance and effectiveness that a research can demand.
