Study goals
This study seeks to map, through bibliometric analyses, using cocitations and pairing as methods, the reserach field of projects success to support future research that emphasizes the theme of success in projects.

Mapping the field of research in projects success and updating the main themes worked by the authors in the area.
Methodology / approach
Bibliometry of co-citation and pairing of authors of articles in the Scopus and Web of Science databases.
Main results
A total of ten factors were obtained, which indicate that research on projects success deals with the following topics: innovation and new products, project team, project manager, strategy, contracts, project portfolio, soft skills, governance, risk and measurement.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
Mapping of ten main themes of interest to researchers and indication of future research emphasizing the theme success in projects and their forms of measurement.
Social / management contributions
Emerging themes relevant in practice to contribute to the success of projects.
