The figure of the GP is proposed, and the consequent use of methodologies, as a form of integration and retention of dynamic competences, in addition to the figure of an agent of cohesion and complementarity of multiple knowledge of agricultural supply chain

This article makes an important theoretical contribution, highlighting opportunities for the use of project management methodologies and practices in the agricultural market as a practice of knowledge integration and dynamic skills acquisition.

As a practical application, this work exposes the need to discuss traditional models of structure of the agricultural supply chain, suggesting the inclusion of the project manager as an agent of knowledge integration.
