Study goals
This work aimed to analyze how project management occurs within a Junior Enterprise of Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering, Ômega Júnior, and propose improvements based on best project management practices.

Theoretical / methodological contributions
The study contributes to research in atypical organizations, which is the case of junior companies.
Social / management contributions
The study leaves some information and clues for new project managers at Ômega Júnior and also at other junior companies, about conducting projects managed under traditional and agile approaches, thus collaborating to identify best practices to be applied.
