Study goals
The article analyzes streaming companies in the Brazilian market to formulate hypotheses about the factors that determine the competitiveness of these companies To understand how companies have a greater or lesser degree of competitiveness, the CAC-Networks was used in the development.
Relevance / originality
The streaming market is new and has been developing especially in this century, and little has been studied about the Brazilian market, This study provides researchers and business leaders with the foundations of the competitive advantage and the way to increase it
Methodology / approach
The bibliographic review, carried out on the Scopus database, aimed to verify the interrelationship of the elements. The degree of competitiveness of the companies in the studied network was calculated based on the number of subscribers in 2021 in 2022.
Main results
Companies need to choose one or two fields of competition and one or two supporting fields among product diversity, affordable price or compatible with their service delivery proposal, quality access (platform development, customer interactivity, etc).
Theoretical / methodological contributions
This study provides researchers and business leaders with the fundamentals of the competitive advantage of companies that operate in a business network and ways to increase it. And it contributes to the validation of CAC-Redes.
Social / management contributions
It was proven in the study that for a streaming company in Brazil to be competitive, it needs to focus and develop some business strategies, which aim to improve its competitive performance. Choosing the right competition weapons improves competitive performance.
