The study aims to assess the importance of implementing a PMO (Project Management Office) and its influence on project management maturity.
Relevance / originality
The concept of "project" has been widely disseminated for decades, becoming popular and integrated into modern daily life. The need for organizational evolution invariably demands the use of projects, highlighting the importance of efficient project management.
Methodology / approach
The research employed a qualitative approach through a case study. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and subsequent analysis of the collected data.
Main results
The indicators demonstrated an increase in project management maturity and a greater perception of value and quality delivery, which boosted stakeholders' confidence in the projects.

The study provides contributions to scientific knowledge by demonstrating the effective contribution of the PMO in increasing project management maturity and enhancing stakeholders' confidence.
