Assessment of the level of maturity in project management within a public institution of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins
Relevance / originality
The theme of this study has great prominence in the area of project management, given the pressing need for organizations to obtain results in an agile and precise manner. As for originality, it is observed that this is a first approach in the researched institution with regard to the use of maturity models
Methodology / approach
As for the type of research, this study is essentially descriptive, as it aims to describe the characteristics and the level of maturity of the body of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins of those involved. As for the approach used in this research, it was quantitative, since it used a survey instrument in the form of a questionnaire and whose data were treated with statistical techniques. The instrument used in this research was the Maturity Assessment questionnaire - KPMMM (Kerzner, 2006)
Main results
It was found quantitatively that the Institution has a degree of GROWTH maturity, presenting evidence from other levels such as HIGH DIRECTION and MANAGEMENT
