Resumo

A busca para gerar crescimento econômico e bem-estar social aliados à responsabilidade ambiental é um dos desafios do século XXI. Assim, a inovação de produtos e serviços, sistemas produtivos e modelos de negócio, a partir de um novo paradigma de sustentabilidade, passa a ser objeto de estudo de diversas áreas. A Economia Circular traz uma nova visão sobre os modelos de negócios praticados, permitindo repensar as práticas econômicas da sociedade atual, sendo indissociável da inovação e do design de produtos, sistemas e processos. O presente estudo de caso tem por objetivo observar o impacto do novo sistema de manufatura da indústria 4.0 e sua relação com os conceitos da emergente economia circular, por meio da análise dos processos de uma pequena indústria familiar do segmento da panificação sob a ótica dos conceitos obtidos na literatura destas áreas de estudos.

The quest to generate economic growth and social well-being combined with environmental responsibility is one of the challenges of the 21st century. Thus, the innovation of products and services, production systems and business models, based on a new sustainability paradigm, becomes the object of study in several areas. Circular Economy brings a new view on the business models practiced, allowing to rethink the economic practices of today's society, being inseparable from innovation and the design of products, systems and processes. The present case study aims to observe the impact of the new manufacturing system of industry 4.0 and its relationship with the concepts of the emerging circular economy, through the analysis of the processes of a small family industry in the bakery segment from the perspective of the concepts obtained in the literature of these study areas.
