Social Impact Business is a type of enterprise that aims to solve a social problem Therefore, the study of entrepreneurial motivation becomes relevant, considering that the decision to undertake in this modality may be linked to internal factors, particular to the individual
Methodology / approach
This study is qualitative, and assumes exploratory research nuances, due to the search to deepen the understanding of entrepreneurial motivation related to Social Impact Business. The Case Study method was used, and indicators were analyzed.
Main results
It was found that the previous experience with the social problem, whether direct or indirect, influenced the decision to undertake, generating social impact, and this experience has a strong influence on the modeling of entrepreneurial behavior, impacting the chosen business model.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
This research brings to light a theme that is still little explored, entrepreneurial motivation in businesses with social impact, contributing to the enrichment of the theoretical framework related to behavioral studies linked to the entrepreneur, whether conventional or impact.

The study enables a better understanding of the factors linked to entrepreneurial motivation, and can help in the management and creation of new businesses with a social impact.
