Investigate and consolidate the purpose and usage of dimensions applied in studies on involvement in organizations and in the context of project management.
Relevance / originality
The involvement has been studied, in recent decades, in different areas of knowledge, such as the social and human sciences. However, little has been published in the context of project management
Methodology / approach
Through a Systematic Literature Review, we sought to explore which dimensions were applied to the study of the construct of involvement in organizations and in the context of project management.
Main results
This study identified different dimensions of the involvement construct applied to different problem areas and populations, however its application in the context of project management was little evident.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
This study contributes to the identification of dimensions associated with the study of the involvement construct, increasing the repertoire of this type of investigation applied to organizations and in the context of project management.
Social / management contributions
Considering its limitations, this work helps to identify the dimensions of the involvement construct applied in studies of organizations, offering subsidies for application in the context of project management.
