To understand how the field of research on the inclusion of people with disabilities in higher education was established and to identify institutional practices of pedagogical accessibility aimed at students with disabilities in higher education courses.

Methodology / approach
A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was carried out using the Templier and Paré (2015) protocol, with searches on platforms such as Web of Science, Scopus, and Scielo, using the combination of two keywords: “higher education” and “people with disabilities”.
Main results
Including students with disabilities is an emerging topic in scientific research, with a significant increase in publications since 2017, but with great variation in pedagogical accessibility practices among institutions.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
The study contributes to consolidating inclusive pedagogical practices in higher education, highlighting the need for systematic and planned approaches to ensure accessibility.
