Study goals
The objective of this technical report is to propose implementation of the TIC/UFSB. The proposal considers the challenges and opportunities and examines how this process can influence the effectiveness of actions aimed at protecting intellectual property and encouraging innovation.
Relevance / originality
The report presented here provides an overview of the relevance of implementing the TIC/UFSB, highlighting the importance of the NIT for promoting innovation and technological development at the university.
Methodology / approach
To support the technical report, a literature review and comprehensive document analysis were carried out. For the institutional diagnosis, the SWOT analysis was applied and the Canvas Business Model was created to map and structure the main components of the TIC/UFSB.
Main results
By organizing and managing technology transfer processes, TIC ensures that innovations generated in the academic environment are effectively transformed into products, services or processes, highlighting the importance of TIC for promoting innovation and academic technological development.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
The methodology applied for structuring and implementing the TIC/UFSB can be equally applied to any organizational environment. This facilitates the integration of the TIC into the broader context of the organization, promoting a holistic approach aligned with institutional objectives.
Social / management contributions
The replicability of these centers can be considered unrestricted, since their practices can be adapted and implemented in different institutional contexts, strengthening the innovation ecosystem at the national level.
