Highlight the importance of involving managers and teams in the strategy implementation process using a graphic illustration as a tool that represents the components of the strategy to be implemented.
Relevance / originality
The strategy implementation process is little explored in the academic environment. In this context, this report presents practical results from the use of a method that presents practical results directly associated with the theory.
Methodology / approach
The Action Research method was applied, focusing on real actions during Strategy Implementation, supported by theories. The authors collected data from primary sources about the company and from secondary sources for information about the market in which it operates.
Main results
Creating an environment for discussion between managers and teams aligns understanding of the strategy, negotiates deadlines, resources and scope, and engages people. This has increased the hours dedicated to strategy, highlighting the importance of participation in the strategic process.
