Study goals
To present how structured Benefits Management frameworks strengthen strategic alignment, governance, and sustainability of university-industry collaborations, promoting stakeholder engagement, management of tangible and intangible benefits, and continuity of value after program closure.
Relevance / originality
This poster contributes by integrating theory and practice on benefits management in university-industry collaborations, applying a validated framework in a real context, highlighting approaches for stakeholder engagement and sustainability of outcomes—an area little explored in a structured way in the national literature.
Methodology / approach
A qualitative approach was used with data triangulation: document analysis, participant observation in an international module, and analysis of presentations and seminars. This combination enabled an understanding of benefits management frameworks in university-industry collaborations.
Main results
The study showed that benefits management frameworks, such as BM.UIC, strengthen governance, continuous monitoring, and strategic alignment, highlighting the importance of benefit transfer and sustainability for the success and longevity of university-industry partnerships.

The poster expands understanding of benefits management in university-industry collaborations, reinforcing the importance of integrated frameworks for adaptive governance, stakeholder engagement, and value sustainability, as well as proposing their incorporation into public policies and institutional strategies.
