Study goals
Identify risks based on the scope and requirements of an IT project for the development of a computer system to assist project managers in developing the risk knowledge area in PMBoK-based projects.
Relevance / originality
There are risk monitoring studies, risk aggregations created by project managers, and others based on the scope, but none based on the Project Charter and the functional and non-functional requirements of systems.
Methodology / approach
It is qualitative in nature (Sarker et al., 2013), using the Design Science Research methodology based on Nunamaker Júnior et al. (1990). Validation was performed by submitting an electronic form
Main results
Thirty risks were created using ChatGPT 4th Artificial Intelligence. 13% were identified in the literature, 64% were risks obtained directly from the project description, and 23% were risks related to events subsequent to the specified scope
Theoretical / methodological contributions
The prompt is an evolutionary process, as there were two versions to achieve the objective. Only one type of output should be indicated per prompt.
Social / management contributions
AI can be used to assist project managers in risk management, risk identification, and risk monitoring. It demonstrated the possibility of identifying risks based on the TAP and system requirements
