Propose the creation of specific document and event types in the MPT Digital information system to automate data standardization and the development of indicators on the activity and effectiveness of the MPT’s NUPIAs.
With the implementation of targeted innovation proposals, the MPT will have high-quality information enabling it to produce reliable statistics on the operation and outcomes of the NUPIAs, aligned with those adopted by other justice system institutions dedicated to promoting consensual dispute resolution.
To provide the MPT with more accurate data on the operation and outcomes of the NUPIAs, the academic literature and institutional documents were examined to identify the most common methods used to document, report, and evaluate the activities of the CEJUSCs.
Differentiate MPT Digital documents and events by three NUPIA session types (pre-mediation, joint, and private); add markers indicating whether each session occurred and, if held, whether it resulted in an agreement; and create a category to record mediation outcomes within the system.
The study proposes a standardized taxonomy of mediation activities and outcomes and their conversion into activity and effectiveness indicators, making it possible to distinguish participation in the mediation process from the mediator’s effective efforts toward reaching an agreement.
Development of indicators on the contribution of each type of session to participation in and the success of mediation; production of statistics comparable to those of the CEJUSCs; identification of mediators with high agreement rates and low rates of session absenteeism.
