To elevate the portfolio management of projects promoted to assist the Creative Industry of São Paulo, aiming to list the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) strategies adopted by the Secretariat of Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries of the State of São Paulo

The technical report provides a contribution to project management research, focusing on the Creative Industry and the field of Public Management.
Methodology / approach
The report employs procedures of bibliographic review and documentary research with data sources, both primary and secondary, obtained from institutional bases: websites of the São Paulo State Government and Official Diaries.
Main results
There was a significant concentration of profiles and resources in the project portfolios of the strategic axis of awards, which highlighted an imbalance between the strategy presented by the public management agency in the Action Plan and the implemented Public Policy.

The technical report provides a contribution to PPM – Project Portfólio Management in the Public Sector, focusing on the Creative Industry.
Social / management contributions
The success of PPM in the public sector represents the maximization of expected social utility, for which the public manager can propose participatory management by integrating stakeholders, who in this case are also citizens and taxpayers, in the decision-making process
