Study goals
The objective of this study was to understand the opportunities and challenges in developing the social impact assessment matrix of Fazenda da Esperança De Roraima (FERR).
Relevance / originality
Relevance of the Theory of Change (ToC) tool in the field of socio-environmental impact assessment. Similar organizations can initiate the structuring of a ToC and impact assessment matrix based on this case.
Methodology / approach
The approach used was qualitative, aiming to explore and describe the actions undertaken by FERR in developing the ToC and social impact assessment matrix. Therefore, it is a case study that adopted observation and semi-structured interviews as techniques.
