Study goals
The objective of this study is to report the experience of creating, implementing, and evaluating the “Entrepreneurial Capacity” workshop developed by ProInova, analyzing its methodology and results obtained in educational institutions and communities in the Campo das Vertentes – MG region.
Relevance / originality
The relevance of this study lies in the adaptation and implementation of a practical entrepreneurship education methodology aligned with the sociocultural characteristics of the Campo das Vertentes – MG, promoting inclusion, innovation, and the strengthening of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Methodology / approach
The study adopts a qualitative and quantitative approach, combining interviews with the ProInova team, non-participant observation, and questionnaires applied to participants, analyzed through descriptive statistics and content analysis to evaluate the workshop’s methodology and results.
Main results
The workshop was conducted in 28 editions, involving 11 educational institutions and 5 communities, reaching 377 participants and structuring 94 business ideas. The results indicated high satisfaction, a positive impact on entrepreneurial mindset activation, and strong potential for replicability.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
Methodologically, the study presents an adapted workshop model based on the Lean Canvas, suitable for diverse audiences and regional contexts. Theoretically, it reinforces the importance of active methodologies in entrepreneurship education as a tool for inclusion and local development.
Social / management contributions
Socially, the workshop promotes inclusion and strengthens the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, encouraging business creation and skill development. For management, it offers a replicable training model aligned with different profiles and institutional and community realities.
