Study goals
To analyze, through a qualitative and documentary approach, how Federal Institutes implement creative pedagogy and active learning practices, proposing an integrative model linking institutional guidelines, pedagogical processes, and organizational capabilities to educational outcomes and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Relevance / originality
This study addresses a gap in auditable comparative analyses on the institutionalization of pedagogical innovation in Federal Institutes, integrating creative pedagogy and active methodologies into a strategic approach, aligned with the SDGs, and proposing a replicable institutional measurement and monitoring model.
Methodology / approach
Qualitative, descriptive, multiple-case research based exclusively on documentary analysis of Institutional Development Plans (PDI), Course Pedagogical Projects (PPC), and academic and administrative reports (2019-2024) from three Federal Institutes, applying thematic content analysis and source triangulation for robustness and comparability.
Main results
Identified practices vary in consistency and frequency, being more consolidated when anchored in explicit guidelines within PDIs/PPCs. The proposed integrative model connects inputs, processes, and organizational capabilities to educational outcomes and strategic-institutional alignment, with replication potential.
Theoretical / methodological contributions
Advances literature on pedagogical innovation by articulating active methodologies with institutional strategy. Presents a conceptual and operational model for measurement and monitoring, aligned with the SDGs, applicable to the Federal Network and other educational contexts seeking to institutionalize innovative practices.
